The Vision

Kingdom.  Culture.  Family.
To Help Build God’s Kingdom. To Impact Culture. To Grow As a Family.

Your Kingdom come, Your Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.

Matthew 6:10

We are intentional about building and sustaining a Kingdom Culture that focuses on walking in the realities of God’s Kingdom and the truth of His Love. We believe that your life can be transformed by the Father’s Love for you and by the knowledge that He has a unique purpose and plan for you. We want to equip you to demonstrate the power of God’s Love to your family, your community, and the World, so they too can experience the freedom that can only be found through a relationship with Christ. As a family growing together, we can help build God’s Kingdom.

You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the Earth.

Acts 1:8

As Christians, we are called to affect positive, life-giving, influence in every area of culture and the world. These are not just geographic boundaries but also the mountains of culture: Arts & Entertainment, Business, Education, Family, Government, Media and Religion. It is our desire to equip you and provide opportunities for you to reach culture, your community, and the world.

From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.

Ephesians 4:16

You are not alone in your pursuit of God and the plan He has for your life. That’s why we are committed to developing community as a family in order to provide everyone the opportunity to connect with other believers through authentic worship, engaging study of the Word, and service to our community. We are a family of believers who are passionate about both knowing and experiencing God.

The Leadership

Senior Pastor

Pastor Fernando and Angie Ruata are the Senior Pastors of Encourager Church. Their heart and desire is to build a family atmosphere and an environment where singles, married couples, children, youth and young adults all feel at home and have a place to grow. Pastor Fernando carries a strong message in his heart of being a family that is unified, empowered and raised up into the fullness and maturity of Christ. God has given him both the wisdom and the equipping needed in this hour for personal transformation as well as serving as a corporate body in our community, here at home, and around the world. He and his wife, Angie, have been on staff since 2004. Angie currently serves as part of the leadership team for the Worship Ministry, Women’s Ministry and also ministers in the Sunday morning pulpit at times.

Media & Communications Pastor

Growing up at Encourager, Nathan has experienced and seen the growth of the church. His early start in ministry began at 15 when he began serving as an intern with Encourager Kids. This experience transformed his life and stirred up the desire to serve the church in the years to come and instilled in him a passion to see Encourager walk out it’s unique call. He and Ashley met each other on a mission trip to Guatemala and were married in March 2015.
